How to change your password

You can change your password on the Psych Lab server either with the NetWare User Tools application or with the SYSCON program:

NetWare User Tools

  1. In the Applications, double-click the NetWare User Tools icon.
  2. Select NetWare Connections, either by typing [Alt-C] or clicking the 4th icon at the top (which looks like a computer in a tower case).
  3. Click the Set Pass... botton at the bottom.
  4. In the NetWare Set Password screen, enter your Old password, New Password, the re-enter your New Password. Note: Your New password must be at least 8 characters.
  5. Click OK

SYSCON

  1. Choose Run from the Program Manager's File menu, enter: SYSCON
  2. Select User Information from "Available Topics"
  3. Select your userid from "User Names"
  4. Select Change Password from "User Information"
  5. Enter your Old Password where prompted, then enter your New Password
