Users are able to use
How to Access ‘Manage My Services’:
OPTION 1: From
the
OPTION 2: BSB 159B in the HEBB Undergraduate Lab houses
an express terminal designated as a ‘Manage My Services’ Account
Generating station. Proceed as per Option 1 above.
OPTION 3:
An
additional express terminal is located in the HEBB Graduate/Faculty Lab (BSB 162A-Lab 50) that can be used
to access ‘Manage My Services’. Proceed as per Option 1 above.
OPTION 4:
You can access the ‘Manage
My Services’ program from any of the PCs or MACs
in the Computer Commons, Parking Structure II (PSII) building, at the
north-west exit of the Ross Building behind the Curtis Lecture Halls. (Full
details can be found at: http://www.cns.yorku.ca/computing/index.html select Accounts). Express terminals are also
located outside Scott Library.

Intro: Once the ‘Manage My Services’ program screen
starts up, you will be prompted for your
‘Passport
¨ NEW STUDENTS accessing ‘Manage My Services’ for the first
time your ‘Passport
¨ NEW STAFF OR
FACULTY accessing ‘Manage
My Services’ for the first time who do not yet have a username and
password for Passport York should

from their York email account to request a Passport York account - include some
preferred usernames. If you do not have a

You can reset your password online at the following web
site. You need your Student Number,
SIN number, date of
birth and Postal code.

Students - If you forget your Passport
York password visit the helpdesk in the Computer Commons, Parking Structure
II (PSII) building, at the north-west exit of the Ross Building behind the
Curtis Lecture Halls, with a piece of photo ID or send an email to accounts@yorku.ca
from your York e-mail account and they will reset your password.

Once authenticated,
your username will be displayed on the lefthand side
of the screen and any accounts you presently have will be listed (active
accounts are indicated by a green ü). As
appropriate click on:
Choosing Activate New
Service will display a list of account options available to you. Select YorkArts - Psychology to create your account
for the Hebb Psychology Lab by clicking on the Activate button beside this service. The
screen will display an Appropriate Use
Policy statement. Read the information and select “I Agree” to indicate that you will abide by

N.B. Be sure to you
record accurately your correct Username and password as you will need these to
login to the computers in the Hebb lab and to any of
the other accounts you create .
You can create
additional accounts by selecting the appropriate service. You can also cancel services, change passwords, and view your account information from the ‘Manage My Services’ main
menu screen. Once you are finished -
logout!

PLEASE NOTE: “4. The
Guidelines shall be posted on each door into the labs and/or broadcast at the point of access
to the system. By entering the lab and/or signing onto the system, the user
agrees to abide by these Guidelines.”
N.B. Hebb Computer Lab guidelines further
state: “The PsychLab may be used for academic
purposes only. Only legally obtained software may be used in the
workstations. Anyone using the Hebb Psychology Lab
facilities for non-academic purposes or intentionally disrupting the work of
others will have their accounts locked
and the privilege to use these systems
revoked.” Electronic recordss detail all users
entering and logging into our labs 24 hours / seven days a week. You may be
held accountable for improper use of the facilities. Do not share or lend your account or access card to others as you will
be held responsible as the registered user.
